We're sorry, but we do not have a storefront or showroom. We do occasionally work trade shows where you can meet us personally and buy directly at our booth. Do you do custom work or repairs?
Yes, we occasionally do custom work. But rather than making complete custom pieces, we are better suited to modifying our current designs with some adjustments. If you are interested in getting a quote on a custom modification, start by sending email to info@stockroom.com and your message will be forwarded to the appropriate persons. Please be aware that these modified items can be considerably more expensive than similar standard items. Most of our products are produced in large quantities, which means greater efficiency and lower prices. Obviously these efficiencies do not apply to custom work. In addition, if you would like us to repair or modify a piece you already have, you can also start by sending email to info@stockroom.com.

Why won't items stay in my shopping cart? When I add a second item, the first one disappears! What's going on?
This is most commonly caused by your internet browser's security settings. Make sure your internet settings allow cookies. (Why? You can read more here.) If you check and find that cookies are, in fact, enabled, think about the other software you have installed on your computer.

If you have firewall, anti-spyware, etc. software installed, it may override your browser's settings and specifically block cookies even though your internet browser isn't set up to prevent them. Many of these programs allow you to make exceptions for trusted websites (much like how your email program will never send email to your junk mail folder if the sender is a contact in your address book). Tinker around with the settings and see if you can make a "safe" list. You should add stockroom.com and icorp.net to this list (be sure to omit the www so it will allow all sections of the website).

What browser are you using? If you choose an alternate browser for enhanced security, it may be incompatible with our site. Our site doesn't contain any outside advertisements except on the links page, and you won't get any pop-up ads from our site. (The exception is that if you have pesky spyware running in the background, it doesn't matter whose site you're visiting, pop-ups can occur at any time. Running programs like Kazaa will also often cause an unnecessary barrage of those annoying pop-up ads). We hate that stuff, too, and our site will not expose your computer to anything unexpected or hazardous, so you might try just using (most recent versions of) Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape, or Safari, since we know for sure that these browsers are fully supported. Won't do it? Having too many pop-up troubles no matter what you do? Well, then... check out the tips from Google here. They might help. And pretty much everything Google has to say about pop-ups on their site applies to us as well. Good luck!

Are you one of those really organized people who right-clicks and then selects "Open in New Window" so you can come back to things you plan to review later and not lose your place? On a few occasions, we've seen shopping cart discontinuity due to this method of browsing. If this is how you prefer to navigate the web, do a little test where you add two things to the shopping cart without opening up a new browser window and see if this fixes the problem. Our site is very well inter-linked, so it's hard to get lost. Also, the search feature at the top of the page makes it really easy to come back to a product you once saw. You can even keep a little post-it nearby and write down the SKU of products you're considering, and just type that into the search box. (The SKU for each item is listed on each item's page, and will look something like: A546 or B024 or J074 or R019.) Another alternative is to add everything to your cart that you're considering, and just evaluate it all at the end, and change quantity to 0 for any items you won't be including in the current purchase, and then just click on the Update my Shopping Basket button.


Shipping Questions

How long will it take for my order to arrive?
Most orders are shipped the same day they are received. Orders that come in over the weekend and/or include custom and/or temporarily out-of-stock items may be slightly delayed. Depending on the contents, domestic orders are usually shipped via Priority Mail, which is usually a 2-3 day service but can take up to 7-10 business days to arrive, or UPS Ground which usually takes 2-6 business. My order is overdue - where is it?
Our policy is to wait 15 business days before declaring a United States order lost. We wait 30 business days for shipments outside the United States. If you are not in the United States, you should check with your local postal or customs office, as many times an order is held there. If your order has not arrived within these time frames, email info@stockroom.com and be sure to include your full name and address and we will do everything in our power to help you locate your package. Depending on the shipping method used, we may be able to provide you with tracking information.

What does the package you ship have on it/ going to say?
We respect your privacy and try our best to be as discreet as possible. All orders from JT's Stockroom are shipped in plain packaging using a return address of "JTT Co." or "Shipping Dept". Furthermore, we do not give, rent, or sell customer information to other companies, or share any of your private information with anyone outside our company.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship a large number of international orders every day. We base our international shipping costs on the actual cost plus a small handling fee, so most of our international customers (and we have a lot of them!) are pleasantly surprised by how low our shipping rates are. Will items ordered from you go through customs, and what happens if they do?
Usually orders are delivered without being stopped by customs, or charged any customs duties. However, some orders are occasionally stopped or searched, and sometimes customs duties are charged. Rules and practices vary from country to country and from one shipment to another. Unfortunately we have no control over whether or not packages go through customs.

Most orders are received quickly without problems. But on rare occasions, international shipments from us have been stopped or seized by customs. This can result in long delays, packages being returned to us, or, in a few cases, some packages have disappeared. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT WE WILL NOT ISSUE REFUNDS/CREDITS FOR SEIZED ITEMS THAT ARE NOT RETURNED TO US. Contact customs officials in your country for the best information on how your order will be handled by them.

Will I have to pay customs duties for my international order?

My vibrator isn't working. What should I do?
Vibrators, especially the less expensive variety, can be very fragile and/or touchy. Even the shortest drops can sometimes result in a vibrator that just won't vibrate. They can also be a bit tricky to use, though, so don't assume that your vibrator is broken until you have tried the following:

- Make sure the batteries are fresh and oriented properly.
- If the vibrator is one of those cylindrical types that has a screw-on
cap at the base, make sure it is securely clicked shut.
- If the vibrator came with batteries, make sure that you have removed any battery guards (if they come with batteries, they often have little pieces of plastic on the contact points that need to be removed before use, usually clear or red).

If none of these things fix the problem, the vibrator might need to be repaired or replaced. Depending on the circumstances, we are often willing to do this for free or for a discounted price. Please contact us to discuss the details.

I just bought/am thinking about buying some expensive electrical gear - how do I use it??
There are many websites out there that might be helpful in providing you with more information on how to use your electrical gear. If you are looking for further information, we suggest that you purchase the Folsom Guide for further information.

How do I measure for/use a cock ring?
To find the diameter of a snug-fitting ring, measure the distance around the cock and balls (at the base, behind the scrotum), and then divide by 3.1. Don't go smaller than that-- you don't want to get stuck!

What dildos do you recommend for use in a harness?
Just about any dildo with either a flared base that goes all the way around or one that has balls on the bottom and a flared lip on the top can be used in a harness. We recommend our Tantus silicone dildos because they were specially designed to be used with a strap on (though they are great for just general use as well!). Can I wear your chastity devices under my clothing? Are they noticeable? How long can I wear them for?
Some of our chastity devices are more discreet, comfortable and generally functional for long term use than others. Items such as the Cock Cage, the Locking Chastity Harness and the 7 Gates of Hell are great, lower cost devices that can be used in short term scenes, but would probably not stand up to long term wear. The Cave and The Houdini are higher end items and look great, but also are not recommended for use over extended periods of time. That does not mean that any of these items couldn't be used in this way, but, for most people, they are not the best choices mainly for comfort and discretion reasons. The Curve and the ever popular CB-2000 are low profile, highly adjustable, hygienic devices made out of light weight but durable acrylic plastic, making them much better choices for this sort of use. On most people, they are barely detectable if at all, and we have heard from plenty of customers who wear them under suits, jeans, etc. in public comfortably and discreetly. We cannot recommend that you wear any of these devices non stop for extended periods of time, but we can tell you that we have heard from Chastity aficionados who have worn the CB-2000 for much longer than we would have thought possible with no complications whatsoever, so if you were going to give long term chastity a shot, we would really recommend The Curve or the CB-2000 for this purpose.
