How do I clean Pyrex?
Be sure to clean your Pyrex products before every use! It's easy to clean with these basic steps.
Some common ways to clean Pyrex glass are rubbing alcohol (Isopropyl); bleach, boiling in water or even through a cycle in the dishwasher. Be sure to thoroughly rinse them off with warm water after any kind of cleaning to remove any cleaning agent residue.
When boiling Pyrex: Start by inserting the Pyrex into room temperature water. Raise the temperature of the water, with the toy in it. After a few minutes, turn off the heat and let the water reduce back to room temperature with the toy still in it. DO NOT drop the Pyrex into a pot of boiling water. This may shock the glass resulting in damage and/or cracking. Always avoid sudden changes of temperature. Do not use any Pyrex products that have been damaged or cracked.
