These scissors are designed to NOT cut people. They have a rounded, curbed end instead of a pointed one. The idea is that if you have someone tied, wrapped, or bandaged tightly, you can slip the scissors in under the rope/strap/bandage and cut it off without sticking or cutting the person's skin. Especially good to have around when you need to cut something off someone in a hurry, and/or when you have something tied/wrapped very tightly next to the skin. A clever invention. 1.75" blade.
