The Quirts Viper is a potent, beautifully crafted little whip, designed to inflict intense stinging pain. This lightweight quirt is made from 8 plaits of thick, supple calfskin leather braided into a soft, flexible thong. Two hard, flat and sinister 10 inch teeth are attached to the end through a loop in the braid, tied off with an attractive tassel. The pliant base of the thong features a stunning braided leather knot, and a short loop is attached with a metal rivet for hanging to the wall of your dungeon or bedroom. Compact, portable and easy to use, this little viper makes a nice slapping sound on impact, and is perfect for when your submissive deserves a particularly cruel spanking.
This whip is made by one of the finest whip makers in Eastern Europe and is being carried in North America exclusively by Stockroom. All of these whips are made for sexual play or flogging, not flagellation. Knots at the ends are soft in order to cause less damage to the skin. The high quality, handmade whips are braided, decreasing in width toward the ends and cut in precise strips for a more consistent impact, and feature the S&M symbol at the heel of each handle. In order to become 100% familiar with your products, all of these whips have uniform lengths. Despite the impact of the strikes, from an experienced handler these whips should not produce lacerations or marks, just a red coloration of the skin.

Calfskin: The further it is from the handle, the more the body of a whip must be flexible and fluid. Ideal characteristics are arrived at through an optimum selection of the right lengths, widths and closeness of the leather strap insets. A heavy whip during a blow must not injure the skin. Therefore, the material with which a whip is made is crucial. Calfskin is made from a calf under 2 years of age, making it more soft and flexible than other leather. The calfskin is saturated with dye rather than being dyed from the outside, ensuring that paint particles can’t enter tiny wounds in the skin and cause infections.
Safety and Usage
Whips should only be handled by an experienced handler. You will hit yourself on the head, arms and back while practicing, please seek out a professional for training so you don’t do any permanent damage to yourself or loved ones. If you are going to practice on your own, use proper safety gear; goggles, wide brim hat and a scarf or other neck protector. Those who practice flagellation should start with a soft flogger to warm up the skin and muscles. Paper targets are best to start with.
To keep your whip in shape and ensure that it has a long life, take care of it. The worst thing you can do is to get it dirty and wet. Both dirt and water will damage the whip and ruin it quickly. On the other hand, not all leather oils are good for your whips; they are designed to soften leather and keep it moist -- which is not a good idea, as we’ve already pointed out. If you want to break in your whip, just use it.
